What is Emotional Freedom Therapy?
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Therapy, sometimes called Tapping. In essence, it is an emotional version of acupuncture, except we don’t use needles. Instead, we stimulate certain meridian points on the body by tapping on them with our fingertips. This has shown repeatedly to reduce therapy from months to a few sessions.
EFT is a therapy which involves tapping on the acupressure end points on the face and body to release emotions or or increase coping states.
And, its a really helpful way of expressing a ‘feeling’ in your body. Therefore, its really great when you don’t know what its about or how to verbalise what you are feeling. Some people say for example ‘I get this tightness in my chest’.
Tapping helps find a way through the physical feeling to the emotion and vice versa, without having to understand it first…

EFT can help you…
Evidence based therapy
Over 20 clinical trials published in peer-reviewed medical and psychology journals have demonstrated that EFT is an effective therapy. It can help release anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, pain, and other problems.
Clinical trials have shown that EFT tapping is able to rapidly reduce the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. In other words, once the distress is reduced or removed, the body can often rebalance itself, and accelerate healing.
